A checklist, not an automatic maintenance service

The plugin does not create backups, install updates, scan the site, alter account access or verify that work succeeded. Compatibility and setup

Requires WordPress 6.8+ and PHP 8.0+. Tested with WordPress 7.1.3 and PHP 8.2.12. No Elementor or paid plugin is needed. Upload the ZIP directly in Plugins → Add New, activate and open Site Care. Review the starter routine and tailor it to your site.

Data and limits

Tasks and recent history are stored locally in one WordPress option. No external telemetry is sent. Up to 100 tasks including archived tasks and 200 recent activity records; this is not a permanent audit archive. Deactivation preserves data. Uninstall also retains data by default, with an administrator opt-in choice to remove it on deletion.

License and scope

GNU GPL v2 or later covers original code and documentation; use on your own or client sites under that license. Automated maintenance, backup services, email notifications, permanent audit storage and an automatic updater are not included. No ongoing support period is bundled.
